Oil Terminal Tanalau Project Gets Environmental Seal of Approval

January 4, 2016 [PortNews IAA] - Lenmorniiproekt has obtained a positive screening opinion of the state Environment Impact Assessment expertise of the project "Development of Payakhsky and Severo-Payakhsky fields. Oil Terminal Tanalau," Lenmorniiproekt press service said.


The Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources said the EA commission found the submitted design documentation fully comply with requirements of the environmental protection legislation. The approval certificate was granted for three years.

Oil Terminal Tanalau was designed to be located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Taimyr Dolgan-Nenets District, on the right bank of the Yenisei River, Cape Tanalau. The territory of the future terminal within the established boundaries encompasses 8.62 hectares.

The dedicated oil terminal will be loading crude oil onto tankers for further transportation to the ports of Russia and foreign countries; receiving diesel fuel and goods supplied for the needs of the fields operation.
