Magnum to Open Propane Storage Cavern in Utah on July 1
06.20.2014 - NEWS

June 20, 2014 [OPIS] - Magnum NGLs LLC has told customers that it will commence operations at its propane storage cavern near Delta, Utah, on July 1. Magnum opened a butane cavern at the same location in late May.

Both caverns were originally set to open in early 2014 but startup was delayed, management said earlier this month. The company declined to explain the reason for the delay.

Combined, the caverns hold 1-2 million bbl of propane or butane, based on information on the company’s website. Cavern sizes can be customized to hold between 1-10 million bbl of product, depending on customer requirements. Also available are rapid off-loading and loading options for either truck or rail.
