Transshipment of Diesel Fuel via Primorsk Oil Terminal up 27.5% to over 1 M t in Jan-Apr’14

June 2, 2014 [PortNews IAA] - In January-April 2014, Primorsk Oil Terminal LLC (NCSP Group) transshipped over 1 mln t of diesel fuel, up 27.5%, year-on-year, the Group’s press center says.


“It is the highest monthly volume of diesel fuel transshipped at port Primorsk from the launch of the light oil product terminal in 2011”, says Andrey Tereshchenko, Director General of Primorsk Oil Terminal.

Primorsk Oil Terminal LLC is the largest stevedoring company in the North-West of Russian Federation providing stevedoring services for more than fifty Russian oil companies. The company has been engaged in crude oil exports from July 2005. From January 2011, Primorsk Oil Terminal LLC provides services on transshipment of oil products (diesel fuel). In 2013, shipment of crude and oil products totaled 63.8 mln t. 

NCSP Group is the largest port operator in Russia and the third-largest in Europe, in terms of cargo turnover. NCSP Group cargo turnover in 2013 totalled 141 million tonnes. Consolidated revenue according to IFRS in 2012 totalled USD 928 million and EBITDA was USD 510 million. NCSP Group consolidates the following companies: PJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port, LLC Primorsk Trade Port, PJSC Novorossiysk Grain Terminal, OJSC Novorossiysk Ship Repair Yard, OJSC NCSP Fleet, OJSC NLE, OJSC IPP, CJSC Baltic Stevedore Company, and CJSC SFP.
