Vopak to Build Extra Half Million Cubic Metres at Vlaardingen

September 7, 2012 [Port of Rotterdam] - Tank storage company Vopak is to expand its capacity in the Rotterdam port area by around 500,000 m3. 


At Vopak’s terminal in Vlaardingen, 50,000 m3 will be replaced with almost three times as much new capacity, for the storage of vegetable oils and biodiesel. The terminal in the Europoort area will get an extra 400,000 m3, for the storage of medium distillates such as diesel and kerosene.
