Baltic Oil Raises £0.95m for Optimisation Project in Danish Terminal
05.23.2012 - NEWS

May 23, 2012 [Stock Market Wire] - Baltic Oil Terminals has raised £0.95m to progress its fuel oil optimisation project at its refined product terminal in Aabenraa, Denmark

The implementation of the project involves a re-engineering of the present pumping and hydraulic configuration at the terminal, through the replacement of the existing centrifugal pumps with modern and efficient screw pumps manufactured by Leistritz Pumpen GmbH in Germany.

At the same time, the pumping flow lines for the loading of vessels will be reconfigured to allow a step-up in the flow rates when loading vessels and significantly increasing the potential throughput of the Dan-Balt Tank Lager A/S Terminal.

The plan has a total budget of €1.2m and implementation is expected to be completed by the end of this year, whilst ensuring that present capacity remains unaffected by the modifications and allowing continuity of operations for the rest of 2012.
