Outstanding among the projects that became a reality in the 2007-2011 Plan is the building of new infrastructures, such as the new storage facilities in Arahal (Seville), Mahon (Minorca) and Burgos, besides the construction work for the new storage facility in Castellanos de Moriscos (Salamanca) which is currently in progress.

During the 2007-2011 period the company also opened a new Central Laboratory for product analysis and metrology in San Fernando de Henares (Madrid), where the most stringent fuel analyses can be carried out thanks to its advanced technology.

In the environmental field, the company completed work on dismantling and cleaning up the land occupied by the de-commissioned facilities in Valencia, Muskiz (Biscay) and Santurce (Biscay), and started work on environmental recovery of the land in Mahon and Burgos.

Among the projects for building new pipelines that were carried out during the 2007-2011 period, the most important were duplication of the Zaragoza-Torrejón de Ardoz pipeline, which is over 290 kilometres long, and the southern section of the Rota-Zaragoza pipeline between Arahal (Seville) and Adamuz (Cordoba), which is 150 kilometres long.
