June 23, 2011 [C1 Energy] - Tianjin Development Zone Sida Petrochemical Products Distribution is expected to start to build 245,000 m3 oil product tank farm in July, with completion due in July-August 2012, according to a company source.

The terminal, to be located in Nangang Industrial Zone of North China’s Tianjin city, will be mainly for the storage of gasoil and gasoline, the source said.

It comprises eleven 20,000 m3 tanks and five 5,000 m3 tanks, with annual turnover capacity estimated to hit about 3.14-mil m3, introduced the source.

“We will rent a nearby 50,000-DWT jetty to accommodate oil tankers,” said the source.

Established in 1994, Tianjin Development Zone Sida Petrochemical Products Distribution mainly engages in storage, wholesale and distribution of oil products.
