December 3, 2010 [PortNews] - The volume of petroleum products shipment through the terminal Klaipedos nafta (Lithuania) in January-November 2010 grew by 5% compared with the same period last year to 7.2 million tons, Klaipedos nafta CEO Rokas Masiulis told reporters.

In November the terminal handled 829,000 tons of oil, which is 11% more than in November last year.

As Rokas Masiulis said, only three times the terminal’s monthly throughput exceeded the 800ths volume since the company was formed. The company’s CEO expects this year-end result might be at the 2009’s level.

JSC Klaipedos nafta was founded in 1994. The Lithuania government holds a 70.63-percent stake in Klaipedos nafta, Achema company owns 9.14% of the company’s shares.
