The tanks were purchased in poor condition with no pipes or pumps connected, prompting the company to make an assessment visit in February or early March.
‘We’ve just got our terminals at Port Alma up and running so now our attention will turn to Bundaberg,’ Marstel general manager Tim Gunning comments. It’s still looking very positive and we hope to have it in operation by the end of this year.’
Marstel owns three storage terminals in Australia and four in New Zealand.

Australasian fuel terminal operator Marstel Terminal expects eight storage tanks to be up and running by year end at the Port of Bundaberg in Queensland, Australia.
Marstel bought the tanks with a capacity of up to 30 million litres of petrol or diesel in September 2008.
