Geert Eijsink of Argos to join Odfjell Rotterdam on 1 June 2009

Geert Eijsink of the Rotterdam-based Argos Groep B.V. will join Odfjell Terminals Rotterdam B.V. as Managing Director as from 1 June 2009.

Geert Eijsink joined Argos 4.5 years ago and became responsible for the expansion of the company’s tank storage operations. Today Argos operates a terminal with a capacity of about 500,000 m³ for petroleum products in the Pernis area in Rotterdam. Further expansions of this terminal are under construction. In the more recent years Geert Eijsink also became involved in the construction of the 250,000 tpa biodiesel plant at this facility. This plant is expected to go on stream shortly.
At Odfjell, Geert Eijsink will succeed Zeger van Asch van Wijck who has been promoted to President of Odfjell Terminals Europe. In his new position Mr. Eijsink will be responsible for Odfjell’s 1,63 mio cbm storage facility and toll distilling plant in Rotterdam-Botlek.
